Welcome

ASCE Palm Beach County Chapter Bowl-A-Thon
Saturday, November 21, 2009

When: Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10am

Where: Verdes Tropicana Bowling Alley on Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, FL

What: The Palm Beach County branch of ASCE has offered to participate in this Bowl-A-Thon to help us raise money to assist in our trip to the Southeast Conference in the spring. This money raised will go to help defray the costs of building materials and supplies for the many competitions that we will be competing in, mainly the concrete canoe competition. This is an extremely generous fundraiser coordinated by the Palm Beach ASCE chapter for FAU and our help will be appreciated. This is also an excellent networking opportunity with the numerous professionals that will be participating.

RSVP: PLEASE RSVP IMMEDIATELY! As this Bowl-A-Thon is this weekend, we need to know how many people we can expect to help us out. The Palm Beach ASCE has asked us to wear matching shirts so that we can be identified easily and if you are planning on volunteering with us and were not in the society last year, we need to be able to arrange for you to be provided with a shirt.

Civil Engineering Students,

We are in the process of planning a MAJOR fundraising event. Proceeds for this event will go towards sending our members to the ASCE Southeast Conference on March 19 and 20 in Alabama. In order to have a successful event an Event Committee will be formed. This Event Committee will be in charge of reserving rooms, food, marketing, etc. The point of this committee is to ensure that each person works as little as possible.
