OWLS don’t just do the work

We make it work.

ASCE @ FAU gives back to the community where we help those in need and provide our members with the opportunity to make a difference through various community, environmental, & volunteering projects and events. If you like hands on events, we periodically work with Habitat for Humanity and beach clean-ups.

Where We Volunteer

We serve our community through our volunteering program where we help those in need and provide our members with the opportunity to make a difference.

Food Drives
Our student chapter does food drives collecting food, educational supplies, and other basic necessities. We work with local food banks to provide assistance to meet basic human needs to families and individuals that include the unemployed and underemployed, single parents, children and the elderly.
Beach Clean-Ups
Our way to help the environment, more specificaly our beaches. Members take a short trip to the Boca Raton Inlet (our home page background) and surronding beaches to collect trash to make our beaches pristine once again. Located less than five miles from our main campus we consider it our backyard.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking and deserving families in South Florida. Some typical work involves building or renovating a home for low income families while creating a healthy and sustainable community.

We are proud of our work.
